Khells Projects

Khells Projects is a Leeds-based firm that works only on fire doors. It installs fire doorsets of FD30 to FD120 fire resistance, either supplying and fitting them or fitting doors the client has bought, and carries out scheduled inspection and maintenance of existing fire doors. Its installation and maintenance work is certified under the BM TRADA Q-Mark scheme, which audits it every six months. Typical clients are landlords and HMO operators, letting agents, property managers, housing providers and commercial building owners; HMO bedroom doors and licensing conditions are regular work. It does not do fire risk assessments or give specification advice, so it works to the assessment or drawings the client supplies. Booking online is free; a paid survey follows, then an itemised quote with materials and labour shown apart. It covers Leeds and the rest of the UK and documents every visit.
